Janet Hafler, Ed.D., is a visiting professor at Tufts University and also an Educational Consultant. Dr. Hafler led the faculty development program at Harvard Medical School for over 15 years and was Dean for Educational Development at Tufts University School of Medicine (TUSM). She teaches faculty, residents, and students about curriculum, teaching, and evaluation. She has offered a medical education course to Harvard and TUSM medical students and has led many innovative efforts to develop, implement and evaluate on-going resident teaching programs. Dr. Hafler has published book chapters, curriculum materials and original articles in medical education and clinical journals. She has served as visiting professor internationally and has been invited to present regularly at regional, national, and international professional meetings
